Healthy Paws is a Chub Group company and is very highly rated. I have personally had an excellent experience with them. As long as you understand what it does and does not cover, then I have no hesitation in recommending them.

First, what they DO NOT cover:

Routine care, examinations, immunizations, experimental treatments, etc.

What they DO cover:

Surgery, diagnostics (like x-rays and MRIs), physical therapy, prescription drugs, etc.

Many policies have a lifetime limit on what they pay out, but Healthy Paws does not. My dog had degenerative myelopathy, and Healthy Paws paid over $20,000 for physical therapy, which was instrumental in supporting his quality of life. They also paid thousands towards an MRI, x-rays, prescriptions, and other things.

Routine care is something you should expect and be able to plan for, but there is no telling if and when your pet may develop something more serious and costly. Healthy Paws lets you concentrate on what is best for your pet without having to be restrained by your financial resources,

Still, like any pet insurance, it is important to enroll your pet when he or she is still young and healthy, if at all possible. Premiums are age dependent, and pre-existing conditions are NOT covered. Now here is the information directly from Healthy Paws:
